Wanda Mounts Barbour Wanda Barbour, 73, of Middlesex, passed away peacefully on Thursday night, February 21, 2013. She is survived by her husband, James; sisters, Peggy, Shelia and Sandy; daughters, Cheryl and Tina; sons-in-law, John Ferrara and John Hullings; grandchildren, Remington, Gracie Maye and Myles; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Lorena Mounts; and brother, William Mounts. Wanda retired in 1996 after years of working as a rehabilitation assistant, serving individuals with developmental disabilities. One of her major accomplishments was building their dream home in Penn Yan with the help of a family friend. Wanda enjoyed her many woodworking projects, working with her friend Pat at the Village View Shop and, most of all, spending time with her grandchildren, friends and family. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Rushville United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society .
