Lyons - Richard "Dick" M. Hochbruckner, 74, entered eternity on Saturday (February 16, 2013) at Clifton Springs Hospital.
Family and friends may call Tuesday (Feb. 19) from 12 noon to 2 p.m. at Waterman Funeral Home, 124 West Miller St., Newark. Memorial Service will follow at 2 p.m. Burial in Riverview Cemetery in Phelps, N.Y.

Dick was born the son of Charles and Dorothy (Spahn) Hochbruckner on Sunday, March 27, 1938 in Rochester, N.Y. He drove tractor trailer over the road for McCall Trucking in Ontario, N.Y. for many years. In the later years he worked for Seneca Foods as a machine repair specialist. Dick was a member of the American Legion in Lyons. He was also a member and served as chaplain in Sons of the American Legion in Newark and War Dads in Palmyra. Dick was a member of the Palmyra Moose Lodge. He enjoyed working around the yard and wood working.
Dick will be remembered by his loving wife, Phylis (Fisher) Hochbruckner; sons, Richard M. (Malinda) Dunlap and Michael R. Hockenbruckner and his friend, Tracy; daughters, Kimberly Hochbruckner and Tina Zanders; sisters, Mary Lou (Russ) Roberts and Linda (Gerry) Weckelman; step-son, Mark (Cindy) Guinup; step-daughters, Lori (Ronald) Button and Cindy (David) Wren; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Dick was predeceased by his grandson, Richard M. Hochbruckner; brother, Charles "Chuck" Hochbruckner; sisters, Jamie Hochbruckner and Nancy Mayerce.
