Newark - Margaret Alice McClernan, 69, died Tuesday (February 12, 2013) at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday (February 16) at the Angel Heart Chapel, 513 West Union Street, Newark.

Mrs. McClernan was born in Dansville on April 16, 1943, the daughter of George and Pearl Fuller Daldry. She was a member of the Angel Heart Chapel.
Margaret is survived by her ex-husband and best friend, Dennis McClernan, Sr. of Double Springs, Ala.; two daughters, Michele Hoffman of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jacqueline Auchman of Redman, Wash.; two sons, John (Nancy) Sherman of Clifton Springs and Dennis McClernan, Jr. of Newark; seven grandchildren, two sisters, Patricia Coyle of S.C., Judy Fry of N.Y.; two brothers, Charles Daldry of Colo. and James Daldry of N.C.
She was predeceased by her parents and a brother, Jack Daldry.
