KING FERRY | Louis J. Fedrizzi Jr., 81, of King Ferry, passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse. Mr. Fedrizzi was born Oct. 3, 1931 in Solvay, a son of the late Louis J. Sr. and Constance (Armani) Fedrizzi. He was a resident of southern Cayuga County for most of his life and was formerly employed in agricultural sales for Wheat Brothers Inc., of Moravia and for the King Ferry Implement Company. Louis had been a member of the Aurora Golf League, the Men's Club of Good Shepherd Catholic Community and of the “Bored to Death Gang.� He was a U.S. Army veteran. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Nolan Fedrizzi; a daughter, Debra Beyea, of Lansing; three sons, Matthew (Melissa), of King Ferry, David (Sandy), of Pittsford and Stephen (Bettie), of Locke; 10 grandchildren, Dan (Kelley), Lucas, Jack, Max, Scott, Heather, Emily, Tarin (Dan), Leah and Kristen; four great-grandchildren, Haley, Kendall, Morgan and Riley; three brothers, Manuel-Herman (Rose), of Jordan, Joe (Delores), of Solvay and Carl (Fran), of Liverpool; an aunt, Delores Demeis (Gerald), of Solvay and a large extended family. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, John. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 in Our Lady of the Lake Church, King Ferry, with the Rev. Richard Shatzel as celebrant. Spring interment will be in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at the Shurtleff Funeral Home, 10117 Route 90, Genoa.
