PORT BYRON | Donald (Ducky) W. Dunlap, 76, of South Street, Port Byron, passed away Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at Auburn Community Hospital. Ducky was born in Phoenix, N.Y. on Sept. 5, 1936, the son of Thomas and Louella Miller Dunlap. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-58. He was employed by N.Y. Central Railroad, Warner Brothers Construction and was Port Byron Village supervisor from 1979-97. He entered the Port Byron Fire Department in 1980 and was acting fire chief from 1986-1991. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and in his younger years, he raced stock cars in Weedsport and Seneca Falls with the #99. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Cuff Dunlap; children, Luella (Milton) David, of Weedsport, Deborah Dunlap, of Port Byron and Donna (Brian) Gillespie, of Port Byron, Roxanne (Robert) Bell, of Port Byron, Paula (Chris) David, of Auburn, Randy David, of Port Byron and Charles (Missi) David, of Port Byron; brother, Richard Dunlap, of Port Byron; sisters, Marilyn Kocur, of Auburn, Rose Clark, of Syracuse and Jane Juhl, of Port Byron; grandchildren, Triscia, B.J. (Meg) Bell, Ryan (Jenny) Bell, Austin, Kalee, Craig, Randy, Mitchel, Maggie, Chad, Kayara, Hunter and Madison; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Ryah, Makyah, Jynahla, Loveah, and Keegan. Friends are invited to call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Audioun Funeral Home LLC, 218 Main St., Port Byron. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25, from the Port Byron First United Methodist Church, South Street, Port Byron.
