COON RAPIDS, Minn. | Kenneth H. Sadler, 89, of Coon Rapids, Minn. and formerly of Syracuse, passed away Jan. 11, 2013, in Minnesota. He was born on May 7, 1923, the son of the late Harold and Anna Mae Pangburn Salder Relyea. Kenneth was a U.S. Army veteran during World War II. Ken graduated from Union Springs High School as valedictorian; he excelled as a baseball player. Kenneth was employed by the U.S. Postal Service. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, the former, Camille Mary Troiani Sadler; two beloved daughters, Cheryl (Thomas) Sadler-Pugh and Victoria (James) Wilt; grandchildren, Dr. Kenneth Sadler Meyers (Maggie), Troiani S. Meyers (Mariana), Alexander J. Wilt and Anna C. Wilt; sister, Shirlee Zappala; brother, Earle Sadler; sisters-in-law, Norma Guariglia, of Auburn and Elizabeth Troiani; nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy; two brothers, Merle and Ross Sadler. Friends and relatives are invited to call (today) from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn. Services will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded. Previous services were held on Monday in Minnesota.
