Penn Yan, N.Y. - Donald J. Race, 63, passed away at home in Penn Yan on (January 11, 2013).
At the request of the family, funeral services will be private.
Donald was born on October 18, 1949 in Penn Yan, N.Y. to the late Donald E. & Martha Dillon Race. He served in the Vietnam War and had owned/operated several Auto Body Shops in the area.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Louise Grounds Race; children, Cypress Race, Stephanie Lea Race, Nikkia Melody Race, Carlie Renee' Race, Iran Marie Taft; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; siblings, Darrin & Roger Race, Pandora Lencher, Sherry Fox, Carl & Chrissy Blow, Dale Kazukiewicz; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Donald was predeceased by his brother, LaRue Hotaling.
