CLIFTON SPRINGS – Mae H. Schweickhard, 94, passed away on Tuesday (January 8, 2013) at the Geneva Living Center South.
Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday (Jan. 11) at the Patrick Funeral Home, 26 West Main Street, Clifton Springs. Funeral services will immediately follow at 7 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Gorham Cemetery.
Mae was born April 11, 1918 in Clifton Springs, the daughter of the late Phillip and Iva Hamburg. She was formerly employed at C.H. Stuart Co. in Newark. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and he animals. Most important to Mae was her home and family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be sadly missed.
Mae is survived by her children, Frederick (Shirley) Schweickhard and Florence (Terry) Mays all of Clifton springs; grandchildren, Mae E. Schweickhard, Christopher Mays, Frederick E. (Dawn) Shweickhard Jr., and Benn Mays; three great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley McAllister; brother, Ralph (Doris) Hamburg; sister-in-law, Esther Hamburg; several nieces and nephews.
Mae is predeceased by her husband, Leo Schweickhard; sisters, Ruth and Emma; brothers, Pete and Edward.
