SENECA FALLS | Louise (Tanner) Schell passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her daughter on Jan. 7, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Schell, in 1988. Louise was born Jan. 6, 1924, in New Hartford. She lived for many years in Waterloo and more recently in Seneca Falls. Louise loved her church and her many friends who enjoyed her wit and her always-ready smile. Louise is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Alan) Foster, of Auburn; a very special nephew who was like her son, Cliff (Gloria) White, of Hardy, Va.; two sisters, Jean (Charles) Kaufman, of Romulus and Alberta (Richard) Olschewski, of Waterloo; step-grandchildren, Mark (Eileen) Foster, of Davis, Calif., Jay (Liz) Foster, of Elbridge, Todd (Roxanne) Foster, of Auburn, Donna (Russell) Markel, of Clarksville, Tenn. and Eric (Mary) Foster, of Auburn; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, as well as several very special nieces and nephews. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 25 Seminary Ave., Auburn.
