Gorham/Canandaigua - James Holcomb, age 68, died Friday (January 4, 2013).
Friends may call Monday (Jan. 7th) from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kenneth J. Perkins Funeral Home in Gorham. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gorham Fire Company, P.O. Box 174, Gorham, NY 14461.
Jim was a graduate of Gorham Central School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1969. Jim was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union #1249. He was active in the Union's Retirement Club. Jim was a member of the Gorham Fire Company, and the Gorham V.F.W. An avid outdoorsman, Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping.
Jim is survived by several cousins.
