PORT BYRON | Virginia E. Steiner, 68, of Oakland Road, Port Byron, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, at Auburn Community Hospital. Virginia was born in Auburn, the daughter of Glenn and Edith Fitzgerald Blass. She enjoyed her family and her computer, playing Farmville and keeping up with friends on Facebook. She had a special fondness for anything to do with Sesame Street and Elmo. She is survived by a son, Charles Steiner; two daughters, Jacqueline Steiner and Holly (Llewelyn) Hall, all of Port Byron; a brother, Evrand Blass, of Maryland; a sister, Linda (Joel) Gilmore, of Newark, N.Y.; grandchildren, Kyler, Amber and Sean and a nephew, Jeremy Blass. Calling hours will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012, at the Audioun Funeral Home LLC., 218 Main St., Port Byron. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m., from the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Port Byron.
