DANNEMORA | Dorothea E. Pickett Woodard, 90, of Dannemora, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, at the home of her daughter. Prior to her living with her daughter, Dorothea resided in Sennett. Dorothea was born in Fair Haven, the daughter of Aaron and Viletta Pickett. She was employed at Welch Allyn until her retirement in 1989. She is survived by a son, Jay, (Deborah); and a daughter, Judy Lucas; grandchildren, Patricia (Woodard) Ryan and Christine (Woodard) Gonsalves; great-grandchildren, Justin Ryan and Cody Ryan. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles R. Woodard on Nov. 27, 1972. Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 at the Langham Funeral Home, 75 E. Genesee St., Auburn. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to the Alzheimer Disease Assistance Center, 101 Broad St., Sibley Hall No. 227, Plattsburgh, NY 12901, in memory of Dorothea.
