PALMYRA - Rosalie L. Snyder died on Mon. (Nov. 12, 2012) at the age of 89.
A memorial servicewill be held at 11 a.m. on Sat. (Nov. 17) at Zion Episcopal Church inPalmyra.

Rose was born on Oct.15, 1923 in Clifton springs, N.Y. the daughter of Aloes and Mary VanOpdorp Schroo. Rose was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved gardening, canning, playing cards and spending time withher grandchildren. Rose was voted "Best Pie Maker" by her friendsand family.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary (John) Braun; sons, Lawrence Jr. (Judith), John (Karen), James (Sandy), Thomas (Anne) and Joseph
Snyder; 25 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Snyder is predeceased by her husband Lawrence Snyder; daughter, Judith Jacobs; sisters, Alice Compson, Margerite Eddington and Emma Schroo, and brother, Lawrence Schroo.
