THROOP | Ruth D. Borst, 94, of Throop, passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Borst was born in Glencoe, Ill., the daughter of Herburt and Grace Drew Borst. Mrs. Borst was a Baptist preacher's wife for many years. She enjoyed her family most of all. She also loved to read, do crossword puzzles and paint. She is survived by her sons, Ted (Michele) Bertot, of Ohio, and Marvin (Kristina) Borst, of Throop; grandchildren, Alicia, Kyle, Tyler, Denise, Jaeseena, Ted Jr. and Josh; great-grandchildren, Jerry, Chelsea and Kenzie and great great-grandchild, Francis. She was predeceased by her husband Ted, in 1985. Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at the Vineyard Church, Auburn. Services will follow at 7:15 p.m. from the church. Arrangements are made by Audioun Funeral Home, 218 Main St., Port Byron.
