Mary F. Dick Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister CANANDAIGUA - Mary F. Dick, age 74, of Middle Cheshire Rd., passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at her home. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronald W. Dick; six children, Nancy (Ted) Bates, Lisa Dick, Maureen Mortensen, Patricia (Dan) Trainor, Ronald S. Dick, and C.T. Dick; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Fred (Joyce) Bacon; sister, Debbie (Mike) Frost; brother-in-law, Richard (Dolores) Dick; lifelong friend, Betty Jane Hamill; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dick was born in Turtle Creek, Pa., and was the daughter of Sheldon and Jane Bacon. She attended Turtle Creek schools and was a graduate of Turtle Creek High School, class of 1956. Mrs. Dick and her family moved from Fairport, N.Y. to Canandaigua in 1976. She retired from J.C. Penny in Canandaigua after several years there. She was a former member of the Canandaigua Country Club. Mrs. Dick enjoyed oil painting and reading. She was an animal advocate and rescued cats. Mrs. Dick loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. There will be no calling hours. Services are private.
