PENN YAN - William Robert DeWick, 55, passed away at the House of John after a brief battle with cancer.
In keeping with Bill's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Benton Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Bill was born in Penn Yan, November 12, 1956 to Robert and Mildred DeWick. He was the proprietor of Border City Repair and later DeWick's Auto Repair Service.
He is survived by his mother, Millie; daughter, Billie Mae; and sons Bruce and Robert; siblings, Arlene (Burt) Mosch, Shirley (Charles) Weaver, Gayla (Don) Niles and Fred DeWick; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased in December 2011 by his father, Robert; and in June 1995 by his brother Daniel.
