The William Smith swimming and diving team has been recognized as a College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team, presented by Fitter & Faster Swim Camps, for its academic achievement during the 2026 spring semester.
The Herons were among 714 teams from 418 colleges and universities across all NCAA divisions to earn the honor. Teams were required to post a cumulative team GPA of at least 3.0 during the spring semester to qualify.
William Smith earned the recognition for the 14th consecutive semester after its 23 student-athletes combined for a 3.61 team GPA.
Under second-year Head Coach Elizabeth Bernardy, the Herons finished the 2025-26 season with a 2-6 dual meet record and placed seventh at the Liberty League Championships, improving two spots from the previous year’s finish.
