On Sunday, the Macedon Police Department arrested a Rochester woman following an investigation into an incident in the Town of Macedon.

Chelsey Jones, 27, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Police allege that Jones failed to exercise proper supervision over a child in her care.

Following her arrest, Jones was processed and issued an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to answer the charge in Macedon Town Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
