On Sunday, Ontario County Deputies arrested a Rochester man following a traffic stop in the Town of Victor.

Deputies stopped a vehicle traveling east on State Route 96 at approximately 2:25 a.m. after observing the driver violate state vehicle and traffic laws. The operator was identified as 66-year-old Vincent Salvati.

Following an investigation, deputies determined that Salvati was allegedly intoxicated. He was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep to the right. Salvati was issued uniform traffic tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges in Victor Town Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
