Police have released the name of the man found deceased early Sunday morning on Elizabeth Street in the City of Auburn.
Auburn Police identified the individual as 50-year-old Daniel Sitterly. Police added that the investigation into the death remains ongoing and there is no threat to the community or public.
In an earlier announcement, police said officers were called to the area of Elizabeth and Steel Streets around 3:30 a.m. for the report of an unconscious man. Upon arrival, authorities determined he was dead.
