Multiple law enforcement agencies gathered last week for the 36th Annual STOP-DWI Banquet, recognizing officers and departments for their efforts to combat impaired driving.

Among those honored was Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputy Glen Addicott, who was named the Sheriff’s Office recipient of the Officer of the Year STOP-DWI Enforcement Campaign Award. It marks the second consecutive year Addicott has received the recognition.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Addicott ranked among the top three deputies in seven of nine tracked performance categories in 2025. He led the agency in DWI arrests with 18 and placed second in traffic stops. He also ranked third in several other categories, including traffic tickets issued, motor vehicle accidents handled, total arrests, offenses charged, and overall calls for service.

Officials also recognized the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office as the Agency of the Year for the STOP-DWI Enforcement Campaign. The award is presented to the agency with the highest number of impaired driving arrests.

The Sheriff’s Office congratulated Addicott and all award recipients, noting their continued commitment to public safety and efforts to reduce impaired driving.
