Watkins Glen International will kick off its season with Opening Day presented by Motul on Saturday, offering fans a chance to drive their own vehicles on the historic Grand Prix circuit.
The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will benefit the Racing and Community Enrichment (R.A.C.E.) Foundation. Participants will have the opportunity to take laps on the 3.45-mile track, with both individuals and car clubs invited to take part.
Advance tickets are available for $34 per car, with day-of admission priced at $35. Each ticket includes three laps around the course, with additional laps available for purchase.
Organizers note the facility is cashless, and groups of 10 or more must reserve in advance. Participants should enter through Gate 2 off County Route 16.
All drivers and passengers will be required to sign a waiver before taking part in the on-track experience.
The annual event provides a unique opportunity for fans to experience one of the country’s most iconic road courses while supporting a local charitable organization.
