On Thursday, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Lyons woman following an investigation into a criminal mischief complaint at the “Lyons Dirty Laundry Mat.”

It is alleged that on March 19, Deputies arrested Aleixiendra Hinkle, 31, after she allegedly entered the business and pried open a coin machine. After damaging the machine, she reportedly stole approximately $200.00 in coins.

Hinkle was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree and Petit Larceny. She was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing and subsequently released with appearance tickets.

Hinkle is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Lyons Court on April 13.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
