A Town of Huron man was injured in a motorcycle crash Tuesday evening.
According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 6:54 p.m. to the area of Lummisville Road and Woodruff Road in Huron for a report of a motorcycle that had gone off the roadway.
Deputies identified the operator as 49-year-old Lamar Weiler. Investigators say Weiler was traveling west on Lummisville Road when the motorcycle’s kickstand was not fully retracted, causing him to lose control.
The motorcycle left the roadway and struck an embankment.
Weiler sustained injuries and was transported by Wayne County EMS to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
