Fayette Man Arrested Following Aggravated Drunk Driving

On Tuesday, Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Shawn Kime of Fayette for Aggravated Driving while Intoxicated.

The arrest followed a traffic complaint originating in the Town of Varick. According to deputies, an investigation was launched after Kime was allegedly observed driving on the shoulder of the road. Authorities report that Kime was found to have a blood alcohol content greater than .18%.

Kime was taken into custody without incident and charged with Aggravated Driving while Intoxicated and driving on the shoulder. He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in the Town of Fayette Court at a later date.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
