The Finger Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce held its July Business After Hours Networking Mixer on Wednesday, July 8, at the Hampton Inn & Seasons on Keuka Lake in Penn Yan. The event allowed Chamber members to tour the 72-room hotel and its 12,000-square-foot event center.
The Hampton Inn by Hilton Penn Yan opened in August 2016 as a modern waterfront lodging option on the northern shore of Keuka Lake. The property expanded with the addition of Seasons on Keuka Lake, a 12,000-square-foot banquet and conference center that opened in 2020. The combined facility hosts lakeside weddings, corporate events, conferences, and live entertainment, offering guests overnight accommodations and on-site amenities.
The networking event took place primarily at Keuka Breeze, the hotel’s waterfront bar and restaurant. Guests received complimentary appetizers and beverages while networking and viewing Keuka Lake. Regional General Manager Donna Yudin and Director of Sales and Marketing Carrie Mann led guided tours of the property, including the event space, grounds, pool, and fitness center.
During remarks to attendees, Yudin reflected on the hotel’s history and recognized longtime team members Carrie Mann and Jason Hagerman for their dedication to the hospitality industry. Finger Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce President Miranda Odell emphasized the importance of the region’s hospitality industry and encouraged residents to explore local destinations.
The Chamber’s next Business After Hours Mixer is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of Geneva, located at 160 Carter Road. Reservations are required. Admission is $10 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members, unless participants have purchased a 2026 Business After Hours Season Pass.
Business After Hours events are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 4 to 6 p.m., unless otherwise noted. They are open to the public, while hosting opportunities are reserved for qualifying Chamber members who have been customers for at least two years.
