The Weather Center has been watching this system track through since midday, and the worst of it is pulling east. Expect the drizzle and light rain that’s been draped across the Finger Lakes this evening to linger through midnight before gradually tapering overnight.
Lows tonight will settle near 68° in Geneva, Auburn, and Ithaca, with the warmer end held by lingering cloud cover and southwest flow. Canandaigua drops to 68° as well, while Bath cools to around 65°.
Tomorrow is the notable change. A cold front pushes the pattern over, dropping Wednesday’s high in Geneva to just 69° — that’s a full 11 degrees cooler than today. Skies stay mostly cloudy with only a 12% chance of lingering drizzle, and winds back off. Thursday brings another round of moderate drizzle with highs recovering to 75° before conditions dry out and warm heading into the weekend.
