Wayland Man Charged in Steuben County Burglary

Zachary Folts, 42, of Wayland, was charged with burglary in the second degree, robbery in the third degree, aggravated family offense, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office on April 3.

Folts allegedly unlawfully entered a residence, forcibly stole property from the resident, damaged property, and committed multiple family offenses.

Folts was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Court and remanded to the Steuben County Jail without bail.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
