On Saturday, Geneva Police arrested two homeless individuals following a larceny complaint at the Wegmans on Hamilton Street.

Troy Randleman, 36, and Shaniquara Bailey, 33, were both charged with Petit Larceny and Resisting Arrest. Bailey faces an additional charge of Criminal Impersonation. Officers responded to the grocery store for a larceny in progress and determined that both defendants allegedly worked together to steal merchandise valued at approximately $700.

During the encounter, Randleman allegedly fled from officers on foot but was apprehended a short time later. Bailey is accused of providing officers with a fake name during the investigation, resulting in her impersonation charge. Both defendants were transported to the Ontario County Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) for arraignment.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. Police reports are automatically removed from this site after 90 days.
