The City of Auburn has voted to join into an opioid manufacturer settlement with New York State.
City Council voted Thursday to join a settlement against Teva, a generic drug manufacturer and its subsidiary distributor, Anda Inc.
City Clerk Chuck Mason says the money will be spent to combat the opioid crisis in the city.
Auburn expects to see approximately 30-thousand dollars from the settlement over a multi-year period.
