Auburn may join an opioid manufacturer settlement.
City Council will vote this Thursday evening on whether or not to join a settlement against Teva, a generic drug manufacturer, and its subsidiary distributor, Anda Inc.
In July, the company announced an over 4-billion dollar global settlement agreement.
If council agrees to join other municipalities across the state in participating in the settlement and joins a New York State sharing agreement, $30,499.12 would come to the city over a multi-year period.
City Council will convene at 5:00p at City Hall.
