Finger Lakes Wine Festival is one of the top wine festivals in the country. The Seneca Lake Wine Trail is excited to announce a new partnership they’re forging with the Festival, to attract dry wine lovers and provide a unique experience as part of the overall festival weekend.
Executive Director Brittany Gibson shares, “When we first conceived of and began brainstorming about this event, we knew we wanted to create a unique, lounge-style setting, focused on dry wines, with delicious food and great conversation woven in. The team at Finger Lakes Wine Festival has been enthusiastic and we are eager to see it all come together!”
The VIP Tasting Lounge will feature a select number of Seneca Lake wineries, pouring only their dry wines. The session will be hosted in the air-conditioned comfort of the Media Center. It’s an opportunity for dry wine lovers to escape the heat and crowds, and enjoy an upgraded experience.
There will be two tasting sessions each day: 12 pm – 2 pm and 2:30 pm – 4:30 pm on July 27 and July 28. VIP ticket holders can purchase a ticket for one tasting on one day ($120) – OR- one session on each day ($200). VIP ticket holders receive tastings during the tasting sessions of their choosing and also have access to the VIP lounge from 11 am-5 pm on one or both days (depending upon which ticket they purchase). VIP ticket holders will receive a branded stemless wine glass, wine tastings, access to the VIP lounge, as well as snacks throughout the day, and meticulously selected food pairings to compliment the available wines. There will also be raffles and giveaways accessible to only the tasting session ticket holders.
