Yates County Human Resources Director Kerry Brennan has been recognized with the New York State Civil Service Ambassador Award, an honor presented to local civil service professionals for outstanding commitment to public service.
Yates County announced Brennan’s recognition in a social media post, congratulating her on receiving the award from the New York State Department of Civil Service.
Established in the late 1990s, the Civil Service Ambassador Award recognizes local civil service officials who have demonstrated a long-standing dedication to public service and a commitment to upholding the principles of merit and fitness in local government.
The award is presented annually to an individual whose work has made a meaningful impact within their community and in support of the New York State Department of Civil Service.
County officials praised Brennan’s leadership and professionalism, noting that her service has benefited both the Yates County government and county residents.
“Kerry’s leadership, professionalism, and commitment to public service have greatly benefited Yates County and its residents,” the county said in its announcement. “We are proud to see her recognized for her years of dedication and excellence.”
Brennan oversees human resources operations for Yates County and has played a key role in supporting county employees and maintaining civil service standards within local government.
