Cayuga County is taking part in Saturday’s national drug take-back day.
The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office and the Owasco Fire Department will hold a drive-through medication take-back and disposal event where uneeded prescription, prescription ointments and patches, pet medications, vitamins, and over-the-counter medications will be collected for free for proper disposal. Needles or sharps cannot be accepted at this event.
The event runs from 10:00a-2:00p on Saturday at the Owasco Fire Department at 7174 Owasco Rd.
