A Williamson man is facing a series of charges after Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies say he drove while intoxicated with four children in his vehicle.
Deputies arrested 38-year-old Adam Noto at around 2 a.m. on Tuesday following an investigation into a disturbance in the Town of Williamson. According to the Sheriff’s Office, Noto allegedly drove while intoxicated with four minors in the vehicle. Investigators also allege he refused to take standardized field sobriety tests and declined a chemical breath test.
Noto was charged with felony DWI due to a prior conviction within the last 10 years, four counts of Aggravated DWI with a Child under Leandra’s Law, four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree.
He was taken to the Wayne County Jail for centralized arraignment and is expected to appear in Williamson Town Court at a later date.
