UPDATE-From the Director of the Ontario County Humane Society, William Martin:

It is with great sadness that we report that this dog has succumbed to his condition.  He failed to respond to any treatments after being transported to the veterinarians office on 6/1/23.

In addition, both offices continue to follow up on incoming leads and this investigation remains active.  We continue to thank the public for your generosity and assistance in this incident.”

The mixed-breed male was taken to a local vet and is in critical condition. The dog has black and brown brindle markings and was wearing a blue collar.
