He failed to respond to any treatments after being transported to the veterinarians office on 6/1/23. In addition, both offices continue to follow up on incoming leads and this investigation remains active. We continue to thank the public for your generosity and assistance in this incident.” ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Ontario County Humane Society is asking for your help to track down the owner of a dog who was found emaciated and wrapped in a blanket lying on the side of Stryker Road in Phelps at 8:30 Thursday morning. The mixed-breed male was taken to a local vet and is in critical condition. The dog has black and brown brindle markings and was wearing a blue collar. Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the Ontario County Humane Society at (585) 396-4590 or the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office at 585-394-4560.
