Investigation Underway After Early Morning House Fire in Ontario

Authorities are investigating the cause of a structure fire that occurred early Friday morning in the Town of Ontario.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says the fire happened at a single-family home on Putnam Road.

Officials report that all occupants were able to escape the home safely, and no injuries were reported.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.

Deputies were assisted at the scene by the Ontario Fire Department, Lincoln Fire Department, and Ontario Ambulance.
