A public hearing will be held this month on a proposal by the Canandaigua Town Board to give their Highway Superintendent a $15,000 pay raise.
Another proposed local law that would have seen current Highway Superintendent James Fletcher receive a $45,000 pay raise for that job as well as his job as the town’s Water Superintendent was tabled by the town board last month.
The Finger Lakes Times reports the new proposed law includes no pay increase for Water Superintendent.
