Two months after felony charges of aggravated sexual abuse were dropped against them, three Clyde-Savannah high school football players pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of forcible touching and hazing.
The three members of the high school football team were arrested back in November for their roles in a hazing incident with a 14-year-old teammate inside a school locker room on Halloween.
Wayne County Judge Richard Healy sentenced the unidentified teens to two years of probation after they entered their guilty pleas on Wednesday. In his February ruling, Judge Healy said there was insufficient evidence to support the aggravated sexual abuse charges against the defendants.
A fourth teen, who was charged with unlawful surveillance, is having his case handled in Family Court.
