Canandaigua Big Lots Added to List of Store Closures

A local Big Lots store will be among the 300 stores that will be closing nationwide.

The initial list released by the discount retailer included only one New York store in the Glens Falls area, but an updated list includes the Canandaigua Big Lots. An exact date for the closure has not been announced.

The Ithaca-area Big Lots store on North Triphammer Road in Lansing is also included on the revised list of closures.

The discount store company attributed the drop to a “challenging consumer environment.”
