The Ontario County District Attorney’s Office has announced the addition of Assistant District Attorney Kaleigh Wurz to its legal staff.
Wurz joins the office from the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, where she most recently served as an assistant district attorney in both the Local Courts Bureau and the Special Victims Unit.
According to the Ontario County District Attorney’s Office, Wurz handled cases from arraignment through trial in Monroe County and worked closely with victims and law enforcement agencies. Her experience includes conducting hearings, bench trials, and jury trials.
Before becoming an assistant district attorney, Wurz worked as a paralegal and criminal law assistant in the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office, gaining experience in criminal prosecutions and courtroom preparation.
Wurz earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
