Geneva Summerfest will return July 17-18, bringing two days of live music, food, family activities and fireworks to the Geneva Recreation Complex.

Hosted by the Geneva Family YMCA, the annual event will feature entertainment under tents and throughout the recreation complex. Admission is free, though children must be accompanied by an adult.

This year’s musical lineup includes the Bobby Greco Band on Friday, followed by performances from the Castleton Kings and Endless Mountain Derelicts on Saturday.

Festivalgoers can enjoy a variety of food vendors, ice cream, soda and beer concessions, as well as children’s games and activities. Additional attractions include a haunted maze, a Touch-a-Truck experience featuring emergency, construction and specialty vehicles, community exhibits and entertainment, and basket raffles with prizes including grills, a flat-screen television and recliners.

A fireworks display is scheduled for Friday night and will serve as one of the festival’s signature events.

“Summerfest is all about bringing our community together,” Geneva Family YMCA Director Todd Freelove said. “Whether you’re coming for the music, the food, the family activities, or the fireworks, there will be something for every age to enjoy.”

Summerfest has become a popular summer tradition in Geneva, drawing residents and visitors from throughout the Finger Lakes region.
