The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office has sworn in three new employees, bringing its road patrol division close to full staffing.

A swearing-in ceremony was held Monday to welcome Licensed Practical Nurse Kirchoff and county police officers Cayward and Moody to the sheriff’s office. Kirchoff will serve at the Ontario County Jail, providing medical care to inmates.

Officers Cayward and Moody will join the road patrol team. Moody returns to county service after previously working as a 911 dispatcher, continuing her public safety career in a new role.

Sheriff’s officials said the additions strengthen the department’s ability to serve and protect residents across the county, noting that the road patrol is now nearly fully staffed.

The sheriff’s office thanked all three new employees for their commitment to public service and welcomed them to the county team.
