Geneva native Travie McCoy will return to his home state this summer when gymclassheroes. takes the stage at The Great New York State Fair.
McCoy is scheduled to perform at Chevy Court on August 30 at 1 p.m. The concert is part of the Fair’s 2026 Chevrolet Music Series and is included with fair admission.
McCoy and gymclassheroes. rose to prominence in the 2000s with their genre-blending mix of hip-hop, rock and pop, producing multi-platinum hits including Cupid’s Chokehold and Stereo Hearts. McCoy later launched a successful solo career, highlighted by the worldwide hit Billionaire.
The performance comes as McCoy leads gymclassheroes. into a new chapter with new music and international touring. The reboot combines reimagined versions of the band’s biggest hits with fresh material that explores themes of resilience and transformation while maintaining the genre-defying style that made the group a fan favorite.
“Travie McCoy’s distinctive sound and ability to connect with audiences have made him one of the most recognizable voices to come out of New York State,” Fair Director Julie LaFave said. “We’re proud to welcome him home to The Fair and excited for fairgoers to experience a performance from an artist whose talent continues to resonate with fans around the world.”
The Great New York State Fair opens August 26 and runs through Labor Day. All concerts at Chevy Court and Suburban Park are included with the price of admission. Adult tickets cost $8, while children 11 and younger and adults 65 and older are admitted free.
