A new program from the Equal Rights Heritage Center will introduce youth to the legacy of one of Auburn’s most famous residents.
The ERHC will launch its “Tubman’s Tots” program on July 22. The one-day event will run from 10:00a-2:00p and introduce 5-7-year-olds to the legacy of Harriet Tubman through a series of activities, including historical dress-up, coloring and puppet making, a read-along, and hand painting.
Snacks will be provided to attendees.
Every child in attendance will receive a Tubman activity book and free passes to the Harriet: A Taste of Freedom exhibition.
