Union Springs Playground Renovations Officially Complete

Adults and children cut a red ribbon at a new playground opening by a Finger Lakes body of water on a sunny day.
Community members, including children, participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly renovated playground in Union Springs, Cayuga County, on a sunny day.

Union Springs’ revamped playground is officially open.

A ribbon cutting was held on Saturday to mark the formal completion of a toddler section at the Frontenac Park playground.

Funding for the project came from grants and community donations and is expected to complement the other transformational projects coming to the village as part of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative award won by Aurora, Cayuga, and Union Springs in February.
