Dr Jeff Ludwig, Seward House Director of Education, will join Correctional Association of New York (CANY) Executive Director Jennifer Scaife and Associate Yassmin Fashir for the talk, The Landscape of Carceral History. Both groups will also discuss their past work together and upcoming collaborations. Following the lecture there will be a Q&A section.

CANY, an independent nonprofit monitoring the conditions at New York State prisons, was founded in 1844. In 1846, it was deputized by the state for the monitoring.
