The suspect in a fatal July Auburn shooting has pleaded not guilty.
35-year-old Davon Dixon, of Brooklyn, faces second-degree murder and weapons charges in the fatal shooting of 43-year-old Ronell Agee on Chapman Avenue. Prosecutors allege Dixon intentionally shot and killed Agee after firing multiple rounds from a loaded firearm. Dixon could face up to 40 years to life if convicted.
The Citizen reports a case conference is scheduled for September 25.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
