Students across New York’s 22nd Congressional District can now show their support for local veterans.

Congressman John Mannion is inviting students across the district to create Valentine’s cards for local veterans as part of the “Valentines for Veterans” initiative. Teachers and parents are asked to help encourage students to make a card.

In a Facebook post, Mannion wrote, “A simple card can mean the world to those who have sacrificed so much for us.”

Cards can be sent to Mannion’s Syracuse Office at 440 South Warren St, Syracuse, NY 13022, for distribution to veterans across the district. Anyone with questions is asked to contact [email protected].

New York’s 22nd Congressional District spans Central New York, covering all of Madison and Onondaga Counties, and parts of Cayuga, Cortland, and Oneida Counties. In Cayuga County, the district includes Auburn, Aurora, Moravia, and Union Springs.
