The driver of a pickup truck suffered serious injuries after being involved in an accident with a Cayuga County snowplow Friday morning.
The Sheriff’s Department determined the driver of the snowplow was north on State Route 176 in Ira when they collided with a southbound Dodge Ram pickup at around 6:30. The pickup driver was taken to Syracuse by Jordan Ambulance and the driver of the snowplow was checked over at Auburn Hospital and released.
The investigation is ongoing.
The names of those involved in the accident have yet to be released.
